Though the
ring's value was estimated at $2 million at the time of the couple's
engagement, the bauble is currently valued by Christie's at between
$300,000 and $500,000.
The massive sparkler sold for $749,000 at auction Tuesday in New York, a
Christie’s rep told the Daily News. That’s about $10,400 for each of
the 72 days Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married.The Lorraine Schwartz ring features a 16.2-karat emerald cut center stone with 1.8-karat side diamonds.
“Kris is not losing money on the ring,” lawyer Lee Hutton said, referring to reports the ring had been worth $2 million.
