ROMELU LUKAKU has vowed to prove Jose Mourinho wrong this season by outscoring ALL of Chelsea’s strikers.
The Belgium striker, who is currently on loan
at Everton, is also determined to fire the Toffees to a better Premier
League finish than his parent club.
Lukaku
admits he made the final decision to quit Stamford Bridge himself – but
only after it became clear he would not get much playing time.
The
20-year-old, who has already scored four times for Everton this season,
said: “The manager makes his decisions and I have to respect them, so I
chose to go out on loan.
“I chose to leave and it’s up to me to prove the coach wrong.
“I want to score more goals than all the strikers currently at Chelsea. We will see at the end of the season who made the best choice.
“I hope my goals will help Everton finish higher than Chelsea.”
Lukaku is already outscoring Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba, who have only scored twice between them for Chelsea this season.
