These pictures show the horrific moment a car crushed a toddler's
pram against a wall following a crash - but miraculously the child
survived.
Witnesses said the young boy, who has not been named, was
"centimetres from death" following a collision in Gravesend, Kent on
Monday morning.
It is believed a blue Rover and a green Skoda were involved in a
smash which caused the Rover to ricochet in the direction of a pram
being pushed along the pavement.
The pushchair was left sandwiched against the wall but, incredibly, the young boy appeared to survive unscathed.
MP for Gravesham Adam Holloway was in the area at the time and saw the horrific incident unfold in front of him.
He told the Dartford and Gravesend News Shopper: "It was a miracle. If the car had come a few centimetres further the child would have died."
South East Coast Ambulance paramedics treated two children and an
adult at the scene before taking them to Darent Valley Hospital with
minor injuries.
