CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA TO MOVE FROM POLYMER TO PAPER IN JUNE 2014

The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced that wll change from polymer into paper note by June, 2014.

This was made known by the head of Cooperate Communications Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Okoroafor, at a Press Conference in Lagos on Monday. He said polymer has been on a test run since 2007.

In an interview with our correspondent, pastor Olatunji Judah, said that changing plymer note to paper will save the Nation lots of money, adding that printing polymer is more expensive to paper note.

Judah said that is a welcome development and if the Government could achieve this, it would improve the standard of living of the citizen financially.

He further, advised the government not to speculate and be comprised on every policy that is been formulated.
