NIGERIANS REACT AS SECURITY SITUATION WORSEN IN THE COUNTRY

Investigation had it that Nigerians cutting across all strata of the society remain unhappy over the insecurity status of the country.

The security situation which has left many Nigerians hopeless, came on the heels of the bombings in Borno State and the Federal Capital Abuja and the abduction of Chibok School Girls by the Boko - Haram Insurgency.

In an interview with Mr. Dibo Adekunle, a resident of Ogba, he attributed the insecurity status to the incompetence of the Federal Government, stating that the President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's led administration have not done enough to cub insecurity despite the huge amount of money allocated to the security sector, speaking further, Dibo described the approach taken by the Federal Government to rescue the abducted girls as lame efforts as he said the President has based more on mere words without taking any concrete actions towards the situation, which he described as alarming.

Furthermore, the Boko - Haram Insurgence, have claimed responsibility on the June 25 Abuja bombing and the Apapa explosion in which the leader of the group Abubakar Shekau described as a little out of what is in the pack, in the video released by the group, Shekau demanded that the government release detained insurgents in exchange for the missing school girls, as he mocked the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, warping the slogan to say "Bring Back Our Army".

In a related development, President Jonathan has promised to visit the parents of the abducted school girls, as he affirmed that his government will do everything possible to make sure the abducted girls are released unhurt and returned to their various parents.

However, Nigerians remain anxious of a security stability in the country as the threat of the bombing of motor packs by the Boko - Haram Insurgence filters round the Country.
