After series of academic activities, ranging from lectures to
practical work, the institute decided to give the students a breathing space by
observing the annual students week which involves a free lecture week for the
students. Indeed for the new students it was a welcome development as they saw
this as an opportunity to relax after several weeks of academic stress.
The event which was scheduled on the 18th to 23rd
of May 2015 had a mouth savoring opening ceremony on Monday tagged “carnival
and concert”. From the gate of the Institute it was like nothing big was ever
going to happen especially in the early hours of the day, but at lunch time the
show kicked off with MIC of Cool Fm and Kemi Smallz of City Fm as hosts. Indeed
the students starred with anxiety like political actors awaiting the
pronouncement of the election results, with some arguing that most of the big
stars flashed on the flyer might not show up, but reverse was the case as the
school finest dancer Ay Rubber and his dance partner thrilled the audience,
after this wonderful performance by the dance king Ay Rubber, followed another
excellent performance by other dancers who performed in group with their
fantastic moves, they wowed the crowd who screamed for more.

enough laughter even without him saying a word, Donga who is known for his
comic clips, which is basically about
job interviews and visa applications, advised the students to be confident at
all times if faced with any of the scenario.
