Olajumoke Orisaguna is a woman whose transformation story many Nigerians won’t forget in a while. Months after shooting into limelight, former Agege bread seller turned model has resurfaced online and this time around with a huge project.
TY Bello, celebrity photographer who discovered her while hawking on the street of yaba, on Tuesday took to her social media page to shut down all claims that she was used by big corporations for gain and tossed aside.
TY Bello revealed the model’s latest project: an art project.
She shared a video of Olajumoke with the caption:
“I’m working with the beautiful@olajumoke__o on an art project. This woman is sunshine. God bless her,” the photographer and singer wrote. She then noted the details of the photo shoot they had already done.
“We decided to try a close crop with her hair and she carries it so well. The photos are magnificent . #tybellophotography#olajumoke #art #blackbeauty#chukwuebuka,” she said.
Recall that, sometimes last week, film director, Charles Novia claimed that the model had been tossed off the spotlight after being used for media gains. He took to his social media page to ask for the whereabout of Olajumoke.
He wrote:
“We don’t hear anymore about the Bread Seller turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna,”.
“I wrote at the beginning of the media frenzy over her that she was just the flavour of the moment for a public looking for sweet distraction from realities in the polity and that she would be discarded by that same public and media once the curiosities wane. It’s happening now, innit?”
