The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, September 27, 2016
sworn in two new senators to represent their constituencies at the National
Assembly, Abuja.
The new senators pledged their allegiance to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a related development, the bill for Federal Capital Territory Transport Authority and bill for Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria passed first reading at the senate on Tuesday.
Similarly, the bills for National Child Protection and Enforcement Agency; Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act and Dishonoured Cheques Offences Act, also passed first reading.
