Shocking: Female Patient Disappears In Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu

What seems to be an unexplainable event, has occurred at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) situated at Sagamu, Ogun state, South West Nigeria. A patient is missing and the hospital can't explain to the family the whereabouts of their daughter.

The woman identified as Mrs. Shakira Muritala, was admitted into the hospital on Tuesday, October  11, 2016, after she reportedly fainted.
On getting to the hospital, Mrs. Muritala was placed on oxygen as her husband and family members were told to pay the sum of N1.5 million before an operation could be carried out on her.
A family source, Barrister Taofeek Muritala who spoke with To-Go-News,  revealed that the woman's husband left the hospital on Tuesday in search of the requested N1.5 million in order to enable the doctors carry out the operation on his wife, only to return to the hospital the next day; Wednesday, October 12, 2016 and could not find his wife again.

On meeting the management of the hospital, no one could explain were the woman was, as a thorough search was carried out in the hospital yet the female patient was no were to be found.

This unbelievable scenario has prompted the family to reach the Sagamu division of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) on Friday. Quickly, the officers moved in.

Two nurses who were on duty when the woman was admitted were having a chat with the police when the CMD put a call through asking for their release.

However, as at the time of filing this report, Mrs. Muritala is yet to be found, as the nurses in the women's ward of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) have reportedly gone on indefinite strike.

Efforts by To-Go-News to reach the hospital management proved abortive.

As we await the police to help unravel this mystery the family is asking of the whereabouts of Mrs. Muritala?

Who took her away from the hospital? How did she disappear? They need answers these many questions bugging them. Doesn't the hospital have answers to them?

We will however keep tabs on this and fill you in.
