The official
result collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has
emerged from the Ondo state November 26 governorship election.
The contending candidate of the All
Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Rotimi Akerdolu, SAN, and that of the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, were locked in a tight race,
yesterday, with Akeredolu having a slide lead.
Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali of the
University of Ilorin is the Chief Returning Officer , REC, for the Ondo state
Governorship election.
The collation of results in Ondo
Governorship election took place at INEC headquarter in Akure, the state
capital.
Ondo state has a total of 18 local
government areas. Below is the results according to local government.
